you would need a very shallow gear (probably like 2.73's), great suspension, and a 6 speed, and over 750hp and tq to see 200 mph. Obviously a built engine, but that doesnt steer away from the fact that this cant be a serious question..

I'm not sure on the tire, I just know that super car like the ZR1, Vyron and most Ferrari's have tires specially made for them.

Just knowing that it's capable is good enough for me. I get it on the tires thing. It's a serious question because I didn't know any better. I'm not a mechanic or anything close to it. Just a guy who wants to learn more about these marvelous vehicles. I will be upgrading to a 6 speed and my gears are still stock. Thanks to those who contributed to informing me. I greatly appreciate it.

I'm not. I have a good amount of it already done. Just a tranny and a fuel system and I'm there already. Not that I'm crazy about doing it but just a curiousity. If it's within my reach without breaking a sweat than I'll do it.

To give you a serious answer:
The 200 mph cluster is a joke. It's all for looks. They don't hit that speed from Saleen.
It's not the body kit that would be getting it there, it's the combination of power and aero.
To be honest, the Saleen kit is looks, and not true aero improvement if you want to be stable at speed. There are much better set ups to smooth out and control air flow on your car than the Saleen body kit.

Subframes and drag suspension are two things that won't have a big impact on a high speed stability. Stiff suspension is much more stable at speed. Soft drag set up designed for weight transfer / launching will be bad news if you are doing top speed type runs.

The S197 body is a brick. The SN95 platform is much better at cutting the air. You don't need that type of power in the earlier body if you have the RIGHT aero going on.

Are you even understanding that slapping on a aero kit will not make your car magically able to do 200mph?
Adding parts to give the appearance of speed is ricer mentality
But look into a 00R kit I've heard people put it on a V6 and bam they could do 172. I'm sure a 00R kit on a GT will easily get you to 200
