I recently purchased a 2002 GT that has either a 01 or 03 cobra engine don't know which or how to tell the difference, I hooked up a programmer to it and its throwing the codes for the O2 sensors, and when I set at a stop light and take off grey/white smoke puffs out for a few seconds and when WOT its constant grey/white smoke. I have checked for leaks at the heads and cant find any....what could this be?

If it is a 03 Motor it would have a S/C on it....

Did you pressure check the cooling system, compression check, cylinder leak down test? You can't tell if you have a blown head gasket by looking at the outside of the head.

You may also have some leaky valve stem seals. Either way, something is leaking into your cylinders.

It looks like its a 99/01 Cobra engine based off of the intake (not supercharged)..but I don't know of any other way to tell by just looking at it. If it were from an 03/04 then it would be hard to imagine someone buying that and instead of keeping the supercharger, they put on the intake manifold without a supercharger.

Is your coolant level low? You might have coolant leaking into the cylinders from a bad headgasket.
