what should i do to my 2004 mustang gt

Here's my .02 you can get a cobra they are fast cars, but the first one has less hp than my GT and I bought that for 8500 with 80k. It also sounds like you've taken a lot of time to make the gt your car you made it fit your style why throw that away?
I also found that if you take the time to build your own car you can adjust to the added horsepower as it comes and you can say I had this car built just the way I want. Not I bought this car it's fast. But maybe i'm just to sentimental with my cars.
Also if you build your car you know that it will be built the right way and it will last. Instead of trusting some stranger that could have just thrown parts at his ride not nowing much about it.

If I were you I would leave the car for a little, throw a blower on it with the current setup, run around 400hp for a bit, once you get used to that and are comfortable then look at buying an engine, building the trans and the rear to handle more.
Going from a basically stock GT to a 400whp car is a huge difference, let alone completely rebuilding it and running upwards of 500whp. Plus being younger, you can learn a lot from going step by step and not all at once. I was 18 when I threw the blower on my car, and I can tell you that it was a lot to handle, and you really have to be responsible with it.
