Default Weaver Brake Pads

I ran weaver brake pads for years on my 97 and they did a good job I guess. My question is, is there a difference between the Silver Gold and Platinum. It seems to be marketing that its quite, which I dont care about. I just want my brake pads to bite hard and stop me.

also AutoZone is having a big sale starting today through the 1st of May and they have the Weaver Platinum for 30$, gold for 20$ and silver for 10$

Mfg PNAD 273 is the little number on them, is that some kind of compound rating?

Not sure, but some things to look at: length of warranty and/or composition (ie ceramic, semi-metalic, etc)
