Default looking to get some mufflers welded on.

I don't want to pay for a whole new system. I just planned on buying flow master super 44s and taking it to a shop to get them welded on. I was thinking midas. Can anyone vouch as in if this is a good idea or give there opinions? Thanks. Also what size would I need if my car is an 00 gt.

i did that once, you'll regret it, its not nearly as loud that way or good sounding. get a 2.5 inch mandrel bent cat-back from the muffler shop. get mufflers with 2.5inch inlets
