Damn, that belt is getting chewed up. Make sure all your pulleys are on straight and if that doesn't solve it, you should go ahead and replace the tensioner.

Check on the left side bottom where the ac pump is. Where the belt comes up to the idler on the left, mine was rubbing on the ac clutch. I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow. I will let you know how they fix it when I get back.

Well I went and bought a new Gatorback last night, installed it, made sure it was on correctly on every pulley, checked the alignment of the pullies, ran it for a while and watched it, it was fine, drove it about 40 miles since, popped the hood as I was walking into work this morning and the belt looks fine. *shrug* Guess I'll keep an eye on it.

good luck, that pulley movement in that vid had quite a bit of travel, but it was moving in the right direction.... it should flex (although it takes an assload of pressure) side to side. But, like i said before it it is moving in and out as in towards and away from the motor,,, Then, you need to replace it. Or buy a new belt every week or so.

Thanks man... when I took the belt off last night, I tugged in every direction on it and it only moved back the way it's supposed to, with tension as I tried to pull the arm back towards the water pump.
