Default Next/First performance part?

Allright so i finally got a couple bucks saved up (1000) and i really want an exhaust to hear my V8... so what i was thinking was bassani x pipe and bassani cat back (they have the new bx series that is little easier on the wallet and does the same thing)... but i geuss what the thing iam asking is, should i save up a little extra and buy the bassani headers as well (650) or should i just buy some gears (4:10).... i want to get the best bang for my buck but i know either one is comming sooner or later so any help is apprciated.... Oh and i have a 2003 GT (stock)....

Get 4.10/4.30 gears for now, save up some more money and get the Headers/Short mid-pipe/Catback after.

If you buy a mid-pipe and catback now and later want some long tubes, you'll need to buy a new mid-pipe all over again.

Gears arn't going to cost you much more then 200? and install would be the same so you have some extra money for Pullys. BINGO

gears + pullys and save whats left over.

If your mild about your car just get a cat-back if youre serious get headers to. Id get the Exhaust in a FULL version , headers Xpipe and muffers + tips in one big package form the same company like magnaflow or Borla.

headers do sound tight as hell but if you dont plan on blowin your stang they are really not taht needed its still gonna sound good with the mid pipe and catback

Get Lt's, a nice mid pipe, and a good catback. Listen for ones that you like. Bassani is expensive, but if thats the sound you like, then get it.

I would do the gears now and get a tuner with them, then save up some more $$ for the exhaust. It's best to do the exhaust all at once.

I would also check out magna packs, SLP, and borla for exhaust.

First off thanks for all the inputs.... i would really like to get exhaust but i was thinkin the same thing as you guys if i want to do it, i want to do it all at once, and i think it would be nice to get the whole exhaust knocked out at once.... but with the money i could get gears (installed) and some good slicks??? my first time ever at the track and i ran a 14.5 with some traction problems so maybe gears and some beefs would do the job?? but i want an exhaust ..... god i want it all [:@].....

Yea. The gears and tires would help you alot more then the exhaust would. But... if your not gonna run at the track much before you get the exhaust then get the exhaust now and gears and tires later. I personally think you'll be happier with the exhaust note, but if speed matters then get the gears and tires.
