Diablo sport, ive seen someone sell them here locally for 200$, they should do the deal. I really dont know what will 4.10 gears will do, and are you talking about tranny gears ? if yes, then i don't think ill plan on taking tranny of a car to change gears. Sorry, if i said something stupid , i have never worked on them and don't know much about them

The gears are for your rear axle. Installing them will change your gear ratio. Getting 4.10 gears will help your car reach the Mustang's power band a lot faster. You'll be able to get to the higher RPMs compared to the stock 3.27 gear ratio the GT came with. Also for a tuner you can get the SCT tuner from american muscle which also gets you free tunes for life for about $380. The free tunes is nice because anytime you change something on your car you can just contact them and give you a new set of tunes for whatever you changed.

Congrats on getting a sweet ride. Mine is stock too except for exhaust and grille delete. I want to do what Subbs said and get the gears and tuner and also lower it. Yours would look mean with the grille delete and lowered.

Don't hesitate and just get it lol! I got mine recently and it's been amazing so far. I haven't really been able to have too much fun with it since I'm still breaking in the gears but with just driving normally I don't even have to push on the gas that much anymore to accelerate.

Assume i get 3.76 (simply because i dont want to cruze in mustang like i did in my eclipse 65mph at 3k rpm in 5th gear) that is a waste of gas. Plus i have decided to go with Vortech instead of KB because of cooling problems. Will i be able to install the gear my self ? how hard is it ? should i bring to a mechanic ? and how much will it cost: part, labor ?

You can cruise in a Mustang with 4.10 gears on the highway. You'll be at around 2.5k while going 70mph in 5th gear.

Thats not so bad, 2.5k at 70mph. Now, how about installing them ? by my self or go to a mechanic ?

Sorry I forgot to answer that question lol. If you're confident in your skills to rebuild your rear axle you can go for it but I had mine done at a shop. From what I've read the average time for to install the gears is about 4-6 hours. The ring and pinion gears you by itself you can get for $160 but usually when you get this done you'd want to replace the bearings and seals which you can get for $90(it's not necessary but since you're already in there you might as well replace the old ones). And you're going to have your speedometer calibrated you can either get a calibration tool around 150 or you can get a handheld tuner(I recommend getting this one since you can add some hp and tq when you get a custom tune) for about 380. If you want to save money you can get all of those as a package from american muscle for around $600. I'd suggest you wait to see if they have a memorial day sale to get those for their discount. If you want a mechanic to do it the average price can range from $300-500 for the install.
