NEED HELP throttle body issue
I recently replaced the intake manifold on my 2002 Mustang GT 4.6L automatic.
Everything with installation went fine. I followed all the steps and instructions, it was my first time really getting my hands dirty under the hood. I put an after market cold air intake in about a year ago from american muscle but that's it. After I started the car for the first time a little white smoke came from the exhaust for a few seconds but I read that that is normal due to some excess coolant that may have made its way into the engine during installation. But now the lower tube on the throttle body is clamping up when it is running. If I open the tube up by pressing on the sides to allow it to breathe the engine dies. It runs when the tube clamps up but I don’t know why the throttle body is sucking so much air in that particular location. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Are you sure you hooked it to the right place?
Actually, my main advice is to remove that cold air intake and put it back to stock. I'm currently having to replace the engine in my 2001 due to that exact intake. If you go through about 3-4" of water (e.g. rain storm), it will suck in water and your engine is gone. I will share this information with the world, haha.

It is hooked up correctly but for whatever reason its pulling more air than before, Im just wondering what would cause this and I got rid of the stock intake so that isnt an option, the cold air intake worked just fine up until after the install of the manifold. I feel that if the intake were the main problem it wouldve caused problems prior to the new intake manifold. I would go back to stock if i could haha.
