Default Need a dual 12" subwoofer enclosure for my 03 cobra, what will fit?

So I was measuring inside my trunk and I'm not sure how to get a dual 12" sub box to fit. I have the stock shaker 460 system, and It seems to take up some of the head room a box would need. I found a box that I want and the dimensions fit other than the height, which is 16-9/10". Is there a way to remove the shaker pod to fit the box I want, or should I search for a new enclosure? How tall of a box can you fit without the shaker stuff? Thanks

why go with dual 12"?

A single 12" or 10" with a proper size box will sound ten times better than dual 1"2 crammed into too small of a space.

Its not that small of a space, the box is a good sized enclosure, the only thing that is too small is the height of the trunk.

what are the specs of the box (Volume, port dims (length/diameter, bandpass class of the enclosure type 1, 2, 3, etc) and what are the sub specs you are considering? By sub specs I mean

SPL(DB) (aka Sensitivity)
FS(HZ) (recommended crossover frequency)
QTS
VAS(CUFT)
MOUNTING DEPTH
OVERALL DEPTH

A decent sub will provide these specs.

There's more science to bass than just throwing some speakers in a box...
