A/C Pressure switch problem
Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure out this problem as I can't find the answer anywhere on the internet.
Symptoms:
A/C works, but the clutch disengages about every 10 seconds for about 4 seconds. So, 8-10 seconds on, 4-5 seconds off, 8-10 seconds on, 4-5 seconds off and repeat. My A/C is blowing cold, but it is very annoying having it cycle on and off all the time especially when it affects engine rpm. Also, it starts warming up in those 4-5 seconds when its disengaged, so it's not operating at 100%.
Troubleshooting:
When I jump the compressor high/low pressure switch, this does not happen, so I believe that a high or low pressure situation is causing the switch to turn off the compressor, I just don't know why.
I just had my whole A/C system recharged at Grease Monkey and I replaced the pressure switch already.
Ideas anyone?
