dyno graphs for vortech supercharged 99-04 cars? drivability? peaky?
Is anyone here able to post their dyno graphs for their supercharged 99-04 GT cars? What were your main mods? How was the drivability after the supercharger install?
I do not want to end up with a car that is only feels quick at high RPMs. I have heard stories that a vortech supercharged car is peaky any not necessarily enjoyable...any truth to this? A nice flat torque curve would be nice...however it seems like only a roots type S/C is good for that?

i have to find my dyno graph. i made 340hp at the wheel. power mods are powerpipe, ported/polished stock tb, plenum and some weld in mufflers (exhaust helps when using FI). i have a vortech v-2 (non sq - i posted v-1 in anohter thread so am setting it straight here), non power mods are subframe connectors and bullit shocks/struts. stock 3.27:1 gear, no intercooler
its not peaky but builds nicely from 2000rpm and up, above 3500 is where it really comes to life. it really feels like a bigger engine in how it respond. diveability is awesome, i still get 24-25 mpg on road trips.

driveability is great if you want to feel like your cruising in a stock car, power as posted before really comes on after 3500 rpm, personally this is the first s/c car I decided to put together and I don't like it, shldve gone twin screw and got the torque. my car is makin 410rwhp, i'll see if I can find my graph but it didn't make peak til above 5500 rpm on 8lbs of boost
