Default are cobra's more expensive to maintain?

found one for a okayish price with financing, but curious, are parts like air filter, oil filter, etc more expensive for cobras? is labor more expensive to work on a cobra?

i know its premium gas but besides that is it more expensive to maintain? its a 97 cobra vert btw.

Short answer no. Like every other car it depends on how well it was taken care of.

Let's ask Yoda? Well it's 0300 Saturday on a holiday weekend going to Vegas, you hear a bang in a dark canyon 30 miles from Kingman Az. It's dark 3AM and what about canyon did you not get - no cell. $$$$$$$$$$ after waiting till Sunday, triple time tow, Hotel bed bug, shop says two weeks for new blower+install $10.000. I don't trust F/I for dependability. But if you just wana go weeee! on the weekends with-in a convenient and affordable towing distance, have fun. Most people who can afford a new Shelby can afford the tow and it's new, less likely to go out. So if you want to wait around Kingman in the dark for the locals to come and make Beef-Jerky out of you and put your car on e-bay for parts - go ahead. See Super Chargers can kill you in more ways then one.

So don't get me started about Nitrous. That's for crazy Asian cars that cost $39.95 to buy a new engine after you blow-it-up doing 1000 shots of absolute zero (456 deg below zero)
nitrous. It's like giving a fat man coke to run up stairs. He's gonna die sooner then later.

I say get the cobra you'll be glad you did.Maintaining them costs the same.Ever hear someone buy a cobra then say they wished they bought a GT.I'm not hating on GT's either.

Labor rate is the same, maitenence is the same, a 4.6 is a 4.6. Now if u were building heads it will be more cause its double the valves and double the cams.
