is a supercharged 4v worth the swap??
I have a 99 gt with a 2v pi engine. It has a vortech v2 system and makes 10psi, dragon upper intake, 75mm bbk tb, 90mm maf, accel coils, 42# investors, bbk headers, x pipe, and super 44s. It made 417 rwhp and runs consistent 12.10s. I recently spun a bearing. So i bought a v4 engine with the teksid block and a cobra intake. The more i look into it, it looks like almost none of my goodies are a direct fit. Has anyone done a 4v swap with a supercharger? Is there enough of a gain to be worth it? Or am i better off just swapping shortblocks and be done?

I swapped a B head 4v in my 98 gt then pro charged it.I'm at 420 rwhp and 385 rwtq. All I have is BBK LT's/catted X pipe and flowmasters. The motor is stock except I deleted the IMRC's.I say put the 4v in and go from there, especially since it's a Teksid.

In short it depends on what your goals are, in the end 4v>2v. But your already at 417rwhp with a two valve, if u plan on keeping a stock rotating assemble just stay 2v because either motor is maxed out as far as rods are concerned between 420-450rwhp.
