Transmission Interchange
What transmissions will interchange for a 96-2000 ford mustang. I am going to look at it here in a bit but it was V6 converted over to a V8 4.6 supposeable but it needs a transmission for it because I have seen truck transmission work for fox bodys mustangs but this one is not fox body of course so I just needed help I am only 20 so I don't know much about interchanges. If you need anymore information just let me know.

T-45 (5 Speed), TR3650 (Newer 5 Speed), T-56 (Cobra 6 Speed) or a good old 4 speed AOD automatic.
Make sure you check whether you have an 8 or 6 bolt crankshaft so you get the right flywheel/flexplate.
