Default Need help with new clutch!!

Hello everyone just need some advice real quick. So I have a 2000 Mustang gt 4.6l 2v. It has a sct 93 octane race tune as well as some other bolt on mods. I recently had the clutch replaced with a stage 1 exedy clutch and the original Flywheel resurfaced. After only about 3-4 months it went out again. Now I've purchased a new Spec stage 3+ clutch kit with a new Spec steel Flywheel do i need to change the clutch quadrant to an adjustable one or should I leave the stock quadrant where it is? I've been told the clutch went out do to it being fairly cheap. I know how to drive a mustang and I did break in the clutch before I hammered it lol. Oh and FYI I drive my mustang like it'smeant to be. Anything is appreciated.

If your clutch cable has slack in it or is too tight it will cause excessive wear on the clutch components. I would look into at minimum a new cable on a 2000. Especially if you enjoy "spirited" driving.

Hey guys thanks for the replies. I don't have much in her now just few bolt ons and race tune. I'll be tearing down the engine next year to build it up for a kenne bell so that's why I'm going stage 3.
