i found a mgw short throw shifter for just over $100 and i was just curious are they okay to buy used?

anything could be okay used if it is in good condition... Does it come with the bolts, handle, gasket set, etc?

well i thought the gasket was just rtv sealant? and dont think it comes with bolts but it comes with the shifter itself the orange handle and mgw's dust cover.

but it wouldnt be hard to spend a few dollars and just buy bolts. theres a total of like 8 right? 4 10mm and 4 14mm

i believe so on the bolts. The rtv sealant you could use, or you could use a cobrabob gasket set. Cuts down noise, vibration, etc and is used in place of the sealant that way its not hard to remove it if need be. I used it in my cobra and i recommend it. check it out if you dont mind spending around 15 bucks extra
