Either buy a GT already, or accept what you have. All you do is post forums about "I need a GT, How do I make my v6 faster, are newer cars faster than older ones, etc.." Make a decision man. And GT's are NOT hard to find. Don't mean to sound like a dick, but these posts are quite repetitive.

I'm finding '03 GT's for close to 3K around here. Relax and don't rush it, just take your time and something will come along.

An 03 GT for close to 3k?? Im not saying your bullSH***** , but id have to see it to believe it.

also im tired of getting ripped on by my friends calling me six sucker and castrated stang and mustang cheap edition. They all have awesome imports like 370z and M3.

i have about 17k all together as my life savings but i dont have any income right now but im so desperate i am going to buy a 2007 gT!!! i cant take it anymore!!!

So, you are looking to blow your entire life savings, when you have no income, just to impress a bunch of morons..... Good plan. These cars are everywhere man, just search craigslist, carsforsale.com, and autotrader....

i had no problem finding one either and it was in beautiful condition it took me all of 2 days to find the one i wanted and buy it. i wanted a black car manual trans and v8 i wanted the tint already done and no more then 105k miles with no dings or dents and a good maintenance record. so i was a tad picky and i found it very fast. not hard to come by at all.

Yeah It's his money...He just needs to make a decision. First, he contemplated Leasing a 2013 GT, then buy an 2007 V6, Then 2007 GT, then wanted to make his current V6 faster, again wants a GT, Sn95 or S197... Dude needs to just make up his mind and stick with it.

I got my 99 GT last year for 5k, drove it for a year and it needed a good bit of work however, Last month I traded that and 10 grand for my 03 cobra. I believe you should be able to find a CLEAN GT coupe with less then 100k on it for 6-8k, he can do what ever he wants with his money, it doesn't mean he isn't an idiot for blowing all his money on a car while having no job

also my v6 averaged about 18 mpg, even on the highway, my GT was doing about 20 mpg just around town and 22 on the highway,

there would be no GTs or cobras if they didn't make v6s also

I found a few in an Autotrader magazine awhile back. They had higher mileage, but nonetheless were GT's. I wouldn't believe it either if I hadn't saw them lol.

Agreed...

In fact, I just looked, someone has a nice looking red 99 Cobra convertible in your area for 10 grand... 100,000 miles, low for a 14 year old car...

And a black 99 Cobra convertible with 94k miles on it for 14 grand...

Hmm, and a 97 Cobra with only 28k miles on it, $10,500... And a 99 Cobra for $9500...

The 32-valve engines in these Cobras are a nice upgrade over the 16-valve GTs. I owned an 04 GT and traded it for an 01 Cobra, and I loved my GT at the time, until I drove that Cobra! Just my 2 cents, if you haven't already considered it...

And everybody else, try to remember, we were all young once, too...
