NJ state emissions
I currently live in Florida where we don't have emissions, but I will be moving to New Jersey in about two months.I have a 96 GT: PI swap, CMS stage one cams, LT headers, mac pro chamber (catless), Magnapacks, egr delete. What all will I need to do to pass NJ state emissions. I will be getting my car dynoed tuned shortly and was going to do a performance tune and also a lean tune to help pass. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks, John

Its been a decade since I lived in NJ, but if memory serves, they don’t crawl all over/under your car inspecting everything. They primarily stick a probe up the tail pipe and measure the emissions coming out of the pipe at a couple different RPM levels. So the cams & headers should be OK as long as they don’t make you run too rich and ultimately produce too much NOx gas. However, since you don’t have any cats or an EGR, you will almost certainly fail if you had it tested today.
Good luck...
Good luck...
