My alternator needs replaced. I found one on Amazon, but wanted to make sure it has enough amps. It says exact fit for my 2000 GT, but am leary. . Help? It's Quality Built 8252610N
Of course, it's about $50 cheaper than what I can get locally, si that's why I looked on Amazon.

I'm new to forum. . I have a black 2000 GT coupe. It's been needing a lot of parts replaced lately, as we're the 2nd owners and they're mostly original parts.
The throttle control sensor was the first to go, and dh didn't reset the thing, so kept dieing on me. Then, the idle control (IAC ?) needed replaced. Next, fuel pump, and the first night driving it, the alternator went out. Well, the battery light cane on, and since it's a new battery, I made it home. but load test showed alternator was gone.i love my car, though, so not complaining at all.
Any advice is taken..ty

welcome

I'd start by making sure it's a direct replacement. It should say somewhere on the page what the fitments are.
