I was looking at swapping out the bulbs in my instrument cluster and HVAC controls on my 99 mustang gt. I have read several threads and was wondering what kind of bulbs would be needed for this task and how many. I was also wondering what film is on the stock cluster. If i were to use cool white bulbs what color would emit through. i appreciate all of the help, thanks

The film appears to be blue. That's why the yellow lights make it seem green (and ugly).

I'm using cool white bulbs and they make it look a very modern blue. Like the new cars.
