NPI cams on PI heads?

NPI cams on PI heads?
I got my PI heads for the swap into my 96 gt off to the machine shop and they told me that I need a new cam. I have the stock NPI heads and I was curious if the NPI cams will work in the pi heads and what the differences are?

the guy that I bought the heads from is sending me another set of heads monday. The set that I got now 1 head is ok and the other is warped and needs a cam. It should work out ok this should make it to where I have a spare head.
