Default cant seem to win with my cooling system..

ok so my cobra has been having a ton of issues with overheating lately.. I found a small leak in one of the heater core hoses, so i fixed it, then not even 5 min after the install the water pump starts leaking... I replaced the gasket, then 2 days later it starts leaking again.. so i replaced the water pump, burped the system and everything seems fine, no leaks. But now when i turn off the car i can hear a hissing coming from the coolant reservoir cap. Ive never noticed it before, is it normal or should i replace the cap? I just cant seem to win.. I dont know what is causing all this stuff to take a crap on me all of a sudden?

can someone please let me know if i need to replace the cap and if its normal? And is there maybe some kind of pressure buildup or something that's causing all these problems?

There should be no hissing from the reservoir cap. If there is excess pressure building up.....possible head gasket leaking into coolant.

...or the cap is bad. Considering he was losing pressure continuously when he had the leaks, it probably never pushed the cap when the car was off.

Get a new Cap or test it with a pressure tester the replace it if its bad...
