My biggest thing is how many cars it has been in, how many people its been through, and has it been tapered with? Being a c headed 4.6 out of another vehicle wouldn't scare me. The thing could have been sitting for years and collected moisture. Like dawson said, run or get it for cheap.

he said bottom dollar $1500 so I am gonna pass. If I could hear it run and check the oil pressure and what not I would consider it but just putting a bar on the crank or jumping the starter and turning it over don't tell me enuff. I could run compression, leakdown and what not but what a pain the @## that would be in that mess around it as you can see in the picture. Heck its not even on a stand it looks like its just sitting on the floor (don't matter but makes it hard to check out). Gonna stick the cash in the 4.6 I got. He would have to come down A LOT like over 1000 to get me to buy it (i'm a cheap A$$ lol). For $1500 + parts to rebuild, time and machine work I could buy one hell of a crate motor.
