Default A/C Cooling issue.

My car's a/c started blowing hot. Not ideal here in South Florida. Checked the freon levels and they seemed to be okay, but had it emptied and refilled anyway. Was able to determine there was no power getting to the compressor. If power is directly applied to the compressor it appears to engage and still be functional. From what I found online, it looks like there is a CCRM before the compressor which may be the issue. Has anyone had this problem before?

I was having trouble finding the part number for the CCRM. I think I might of found it on ebay but I am not quite sure if this is it.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-OEM-MULTI-FUNCTION-RELAY-2001-2004-4-6L-FORD-MUSTANG-1R3Z-12B577-AA-/281135071502?pt=Car_Audio_Video&hash=item4174f4c10e&vxp=mtr
The other part number I found on ebay said it fit the V6 Mustang. Are they the same CCRM's?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

There is also a pressure switch on the line some place , if it goes bad the compressor wont kick on. That switch is what tells the ccrm that there is pressure there and it is ok to start the compressor. If the ccrm doesn't see the switch or the switch is bad it assumes the system is low and will not start.

Who vacated and refilled your system for you? I cant believe any one with knowledge of the ac system would have missed the reason for it not kicking on ..

Thank you for your reply dawson1112,

I double checked with the guy who helped me and he did jump the switch and was able to determine that it was not the issue.

I bought a new CRRM, and changed it. Easy job, located near intake in the passenger side front fender. My compressor kicked on right away.
