If your lookin for a good performance tire. The Nitto Drag Redials are are great for the back. And your Goodyears Are a good tire up front. But if your lookin for something good in the rain. I can't help you there.

Ok, here's some more info on the car. It's a 2001 Mustang GT with 17" alloy wheels. Right now it has Goodyear Eagle ZR 245-45-17. I haven't done any custom work on the car yet, so everything is still stock. Some places are telling me that Toyo's are the best, others say Michelin Sport and others say BF Goodrich. I think they're just telling me the best tire is the one they sell. Any suggestions??

Tirerack.com rates tires on a few different categories. The Yokohama AVS ES 100 are a best seller and perform better than a lot of more expensive tires. Can't go wrong for 116 a tire.

BF Goodrich COMP TA Drag Radials. They will hook harder than Nitto's

I'd go 255 or 275. But must people here say your nuts going with 275's on an 8 inch wide wheel, but I did it all the time on my Iroc-z with 16x8's.

I had goodluck with Dunlop sport 5000's. They work well in the rain and hook better then the nitto drag radials I had on my 90 gt.
