Default Need Help Please!

Okay guys here is the deal I have a 04 mustang gt 4.6 5 speed. Well this past week the tranny went out so I pulled the tranny and replaced it I had the fly wheel resurfaced and new clutch I also bought a new clutch cable and installed that as well and now I am on the clutch quadrant. My problem is I got the two plastic pieces off of the shaft now I cant get the shaft out. I have the oem replacement piece. Is there anyway to get this shaft out to get the new quadrant and shaft in there. I have searched forum after forum and nothing only how to remove and replace the the ratchet and paw with springs nothing on the shaft. Any advice will help guys I'm lost at the moment on this one

Why would you want to take that out? If you can still return the OEM replacement plastic quadrant just get the Steeda one and upgrade.

I would but I called everywhere here where I live at and no one has it and really cant wait on shipping so I had to go with the oem one from the dealership. I thought I could just pull it out lol Oh boy was I wrong on that one. But the reason why I need to replace it is cause I started to notice little white plastic shaving on the floor board and looked up and the teeth on the stock one is starting to strip it looks like. Or is there anyway I can take the the new ones off the new shaft and stick them on the old one?? If so my next question would be how do you get the par off without having to break it??

There is no reason to remove the pedal shaft.

Alright guys made it a little farther now. I have taken the new ratchet and paw off the new shaft and I have it installed on the old one in my car. I got the spring on for the ratchet and now I cant seem to get the spring on the paw for the life of me is there some little secret to get this booger back on there??
