Default Best do it yourself tuning package?

I'm considering diving in and doing my own tune for my 2002 GT and I'm interested in any feedback on the following packages.

The first tune would be for my GT with basic bolt ons but I plan to put a KB on the car in a while and then would need to be able to tweek the tune that KB supplies with their system.

I have a AFR on the car and would use a local deserted backstreet and occasionally strip visit as my "dyno".

I know this is a lot to bite off but I'm only really interested in the WOT performance and getting the auto trans shift points and pressures dialed in so I'm not trying to redo a whole tune, at least not to start.

Moates.net Quarterhorse + Binary Editor software

DeltaForce Commando system

SCT ProRacer system

I like the looks of the Quarterhorse system so far, it includes fast logging capabilities and the BE software seems well supported. The level of detail it lets you work at is a little intimating but I'm thinking if I can start with a decent baseline tune just making little tweaks at a time on WOT timing and AFR wouldn't be too bad.
