I recently purchased a 2003 GT with several Mods including a Steeda Tri-AX short shifter. I noticed a buzzing/vibration coming from the shifter which really became pronounced when I placed my hand on it to change gears. After talking with a transmission rebuilder, who suggested it was the shifter stops (bolts in the shifter to stop the shifter lever from putting pressure on the internal gears). The rebuilder suggested backing off or removing the stops as the TR3650 has built in stops to prevent over shifting. I did this and the noise went away. Hope this helps anyone with a TR3650 tranny.
