You're right it's your money. Just a little friendly advice though, hold on to the stock coils you take off. You're gonna want them in a few months.

Not trying to be a dick or start anything here but.

1. have you ever tryed those coils your self?

2. Do you know anyone that has.

i am really not trying to be a dick just asking.

i know of at least 10-15 members on an F150 forum that have used the global coils and say they run just as good as motorcraft they run 90,000-100,000 miles before issue's sounds like a good deal to me.

i my self have never bought them but a friend did and they look the same as a FoMoCo but instead of 110 per coil it was 100 shiped for all 8.

it is your money but in the end from what i have seen and read those are the best bang for your buck IMO

I have not personally used those coils no. However, I have about ten years of experience working with the modular engines, some professionally and some tinkering in the garage. I've worked for a ford dealership and a speed shop that specialized in mustangs.

That being said in my experience I have NEVER found a set of aftermarket coils that were worth their weight in poo. I've taken more off than I've installed for sure. No worries on being a dick man I don't take it personally.

There are a few things ford make pretty rock solid and better than almost all aftermarket Mfgs...

Coils, MAFs, and Throttle bodies. You get what you pay for when it comes to parts and never use the local ford dealer for FoMoCo parts. There are a few online that have pricing on ford parts just as good in many cases as the aftermarket brands with the benefit of sticking with Ford on the brand.

I haven't used the Global Brand of Coils but my experience with Fords for the last 13 years has been what I said above.

not worryed about being a dick just that post could have came off as one. no harm no foul.

+1 on check Cliffy info out. Cliffy checks and test more parts, then many member's even know exist for our cars.and just MO use ford part's on the COP. and you can get the COP a lot cheaper thur other parts supplier's.
