Candy-Man

Okay so i just bought my 2000 mustang gt. And when im like at a red light or something and the car is in neutrual the rpm drops to like 500 i think... and it does it once in a while. Like the rpm drops suddenly and than goes back up.

Problem #2.
My "check engine light" doesnt even flash when i start the car. I think its unplugged. Do you know where its located so i could plug it in?

The bulb can be burned out or removed for the check engine light, you need to pull the gauge cluster and you will see the bulbs on the back.
