RE: exhaust. I know you seen it before
I stated earlier I have LM1s. If you are still gonna use the stock H pipe don't worry about how loud it is. It's not THAT loud. I don't notice it much. Now when I get my prochamber in tomorrow, it will probably be a diff story.

the american thunder flowmasters have a nice deep sound and still loud but nothing crazy, they did drone on the highway but after my gear swap havent had a problem since of the slightly higher rpm on the highway. the drone is death at 2k

acer has LM1s with the MAC pro chamber. it's sick! just get whatever you want. you're going to be happy with any one you pick. anything sounds better than stock. you really shouldn't base your decision on sound clips from the internet. it's best to try and find some stangers local to you with different combos. i can honestly say nobody on this board helped me with my exhaust decision based on clips. clips don't do exhaust justice, they don't sound anything like it does IRL.
that's the worst explanation i've ever heard when comparing catbacks. magnaflows sound good, LM2s sound good, they're not expensive (compared to bassani). how do you figure that since they're more expensive that they're basically the nicest sounding?
SLP LoudMouth I = Very Loud
SLP LoudMouth II = Less Louder then Loudmouth I but still Loud
Flowmaster Cat-Back = Not to loud but a very nice deep tone.
Bassaini = Very nice sounding thats why its so expensive

I heard some LM1's today. That exhaust is the sh*t. I'm sold on what I want to get. I don't know what kind of mid pipes he had but he also had frpp shorties. Sounds great!

Well, I too have an 04 GT and a week after I got it, I bit the bullet and bought the Magnaflow catback. I noticed, like others here, that it wasn't much louder than stock. It was a little better sound, just not too much louder until you put the pedal on the floor. Even then, it wasn't much. I purchased them over Flowmasters because of the lifetime warranty vs. 1 yr warranty and the fact that they are stainless.I was satisfied, but not happy. Then came the o/r h-pipe about two weeks ago. Holy crap and many other explicatives. It sounds mean as hell now, and I couldn't be happier.
