Hangwire, that was some good advice you gave, I'm very close to popping for a 2.1 KB so I carefully read everything you said.

I'll be running a very similar setup to yours, 2.1KB with their MAF/CAI kit, stock block, 4r70w auto, sub frame connectors, LCA's and drag radials.

I will be hitting the strip but mostly will be having fun on the street with the car and it will be daily driver.

A few questions if you don't mind-

I plan to go with same rear tire size you have, 315/35/17. I want some drag radials that hook hard but could maybe give me 5000 miles on the street.

How do you like your NT05's, do they hook well on the street and if you daily drive do you have feeling on their tread life? I know they aren't a rain tire but that's ok with me. From what I have seen so far either the NT05's or some Mickey Thompson's look like the way to go.

Are you running the stock torque converter or a higher stall one and if so how is that working out?

With the 3.73 gears can you hook in 1rst on the street?

I'm almost thinking of staying with my stock 3.27's to keep first gear less violent, but maybe go with a 3200 or 3500 RPM stall converter to get the KB up in its torque range.

I couldn't hold back any longer, I just popped for a KB, I had to get the 2.1 smog legal kit since I'm in Cali. I got the 90mm/CAI add on, I'll use it with the 75mm Accufab TB I already have.

Have a blower was always a "some day" kind of dream for me so now that day has finally come. I won't be able to put it on until next month but I'm doing some suspension work on the car to get it ready for the extra HP.
