Default T-45 fluid change

OK this might sound like a noob question but could someone tell me the procedure and recommend a good synthetic to use

drain the fluid. put fluid back in.

Not sure about the drain plug, I've been trying to figure that out as well, I believe it's an allen key plug on the side of the transmission. It's so that you only fill the trans up with fluid to that point like it's supposed to.

Oh, and Pennzoil Syncromesh. Period.

it is a 3/8 ratchet if i remember right there is a upper one and a lower one. the lower is near the rear of the tranny the upper one is on the right side closer to the center.

So much easier just to take off the shifter and fill it from the top instead of trying to pump it into the side of the tranny. I always just make sure to use silicone seal when I put the shifter back on.
