Ok so I heard that lowering your car actually hurts you from the line in a race because of weight transfer. Is this true?

RE: springs
i have eibach pro kits on my 03 and theyre pretty nice. i wouldve liked a lower drop, but without having to pay for camber kit and new shocks/struts they give a good stance and drop. i didnt really notice any difference in ride quality except maybe a little rougher going over speedbumps. i dont go to the track often so i cant really say about helping or hurting off the line. link below was taken day after i got it lowered. hope any of this helps.

RE: springs
Here is a link to my gallery if you're interested. I have Steeda Sport Springs on my '98 GT vert. Great handling. I changed my struts and shocks (Tokico) at the same time since everthing was basically apart anyway. I also added Ford Racing rear upper control arms that help the rear handle even better yet.
