Default springs

I'm going home this weekend from school. I want to put springs on my car. I was thinking about either Saleen Springs, Or the Eibach pro Kit there both about the same price. I was wondering what others people input in.

Ok so I heard that lowering your car actually hurts you from the line in a race because of weight transfer. Is this true?

Umm if it helps....I drive a car with eibach's and my buddy drives a GT with steeda's
You basically have the same feel, and i believe they were almost exactly the same drop too, they were within lik 1/8 inch i think, i couldn't tell a difference b/w the two in any factor
