Hey, I've spent the last hour online trying to run down what I broke. There are these two small, inflexible red tubes that connect to the front region of my plenum, and run from there to the passenger side firewall and around to some device on the drivers side of my plenum. The passage of time has made them brittle, and I have broken them. Now my car will occasionally die if I accelerate too slowly from a stop. Any idea what they are called, and what they run to? Thanks in advance.

Try to post some pics if you can. That will help a lot. All I can tell from what I read was that it's a vac line. Not sure of much more though. Sorry.

Sounds like the vacum lines, but need pics

Those sound like vacuum lines to either the EGR, air pump or IAC. I had those same things, still wondering why they weren't normal vacuum hoses. Mine went to the egr from the manifold and to the manifold from the smog pump solenoids and they broke when I looked at them.

ive plugged all mine, and don't have any issues with it.
