No, not the furry kind. The kind that get my car to pass state inspection. Here in NC it is just a visual but I'd rather just put them on and leave them so I'm shopping for a set of 2.5" universal cats. Some of the ones on Jegs and Summit say non-OBDII compliant. I'm not sure what that really means or if it even matters since I plan on planning on putting the MIL elims on there anyway.

What midpipe do you have now? It might be easier to just swap out the entire midpipe for a catted one.

Right now it's Bassani mid-lengths with an off-road X. It's not an easy part to find without paying out the nose.

So I can get 2 universal cats from Summit or Jegs for like $120 and have them welded in pretty cheap.

Why not just put the stock midpipe on?

The Bassani one is like $450. I guess I'll see if I can find one on one of the forums for sale cheaper than that.

I don't have one since I bought the car and these headers are just a little longer than shortys so even if I had one it wouldn't fit.

Yes, I screwed myself buying this car without having him get it inspected first.

Screw it. I'm going to find stock manifolds and mid pipe so I don't have to stress over this anymore.
