Default What Oil Should I use in 2002 Mustang GT (mild mods)?

I just bought my first mustang recently and I was wondering what oil I should use in it. I have been told to run 5W30 or 10W30 in it and to use Castrol or Motorcraft. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Check that out. You can't go wrong with the 5w30.

Thanks TXMACH. I've always been a Chevrolet owner and mainly trucks so I don't know much about the mustangs. I've always been a fan but never owned one. I'm sure I will have alot more questions in the future. lol

No problem. I likely won't have all the answers, but I remember having the same question you asked.

Yeah, after reading it (I know it takes a while) I felt really confident in making my choice of oil.

5w-30 Royal Purple has been working great for me. OEM Motorcraft filter is good and cheap also.
