Default I have $1000...

...what upgrades wouldm you guys recommend for me? I have an 01 Cobra with exhaust (minus headers) and a King Cobra clutch. I want a CAI but those are relatively cheap. What would you guys go for in my shoes? And before anyone says it...I'd like to keep it NA until I get it paid off so saving a little bit more for a S/C isn't an option at the moment.

Since you have an exhaust already, I would go with gears, tuner, and a good CAI. I hear densecharger is one of the best.

Thanks guys....what exactly is a mid pipe? I have an H pipe but I don't know if that's stock because I bought the car used.

Look under your car and if you see a **** load of cats (6 to be exact) then you have the stock H.

If there are 4 chunky cats on there....then its a stocker. If it is indeed stock, get some headrers and a midpipe. Also get a CAI, and GEARS GEARS GEARS.

Gears, tuner, and a CAI. If you have anything leftover(prices depending on install price) I would shoot for a mid pipe and catback(for sound)

Ok, definitely not a stock H-pipe down there. Any recommendation on a tuner? I think I will go with the Densecharger system, but which gears should i go for? I want an in-between ratio because I still want half way decent gas mileage. Also, what kind of a sound difference does a set of headers make in an exhaust note?
