Default What Size Tires?

I am about to buy a new set of Nitto 555R Drag Radial tires for my mustang. Also buying the Nitto NT555 Extreme performance for the front. I am just wondering what size would be the best choice for the front and rear. My Mustang is producing around 350HP and I am about to install QA1 rear upper and lower control arms to improve traction.

What is your current rim size?

18s? 305-35 is a good choice.
17s? 315-35 should do you good

Do you know how wide your rims are? Are they the stock rims that come on your car?

Ah, well I think 265-40-17's would fit very nicely all the way around.

275/40/17 would be the widest tire you can correctly put on those wheels. anything wider will bulge and handling will start to suffer, slightly anyways.

I think 275's on a 9 inch will look a little bulged. Also 275's are hit and miss if they'll rub on the front.
