Turn Signals not coming off
Hello everyone
I recently replaced my battery and I noticed something wrong with my steering wheel. When I have my turn signals on and I finish completing the turn, the turn signal does not turn off automatically. I tried putting on the turn signal each way and turning the wheel all the way and the signal stays on. I'm not hearing the "click" to make it come off on its own. Anyone know how I can get this fixed? It was working fine a few weeks ago, its a 2000 mustang GT btw.

That is my guess too. The multifunction switch where the turn signal activates has a couple of pawls that as the steering wheel rotates back to center, it hits the pawl to shut off the switch. If the Pawl is broken the turn signals never turn off.
Can you turn off the switch manually?
