I have a 99 Cobra convertible and my windows do not adjust down when you open the door. The window ends up overlapping the top when you close the door again. I just bought the car and I do not know if the windows should adjust down slightly every time the door open and closes like other convertibles. Everything else works fine with the windows and top. Does anyone have experience with this problem???

99 Mustangs do not have automated windows. You have to move them yourself, thankfully they are power windows. If your window overlaps, then the door or the window will need adjustment.

Mine did that last year. The adhesive that holds the window to the regulator broke. you have to fix it with eurathane adhesive. Not a tough job if your problem is the same as mine was.
