Default How much would it be to get a cat-back installed?

I'm installing my SLP LM II hopefully tomorrow when they're expected to arrive. What would it generally run to get it installed at a shop? Just want to know what I'm saving. Thanks.

When I got mine installed last Tuesday it was $40. I could have saved myself some money, but I didn't have the time to do it myself. It will depend on how hard it is to get it installed. I have the SLP LM1. I've gotten nothing but compliments on it!

Do it yourself and save the money. You just need a sawsall to cut of the old exhaust. The LM system is a easy bolt on. Unless your getting the LM 2`S welded into your stock pipes. Then thats a different story.

Hack saw! No way. Youll be there for a long time cutting through that stainless steel. Try it, youll see. Get a sawsall or forget about it.

I don't have a sawsall and I bought the $23 torque wrench. I'm using a jigsaw with metal blades to get the old one off. Hopefully the jigsaw will get through that metal and i can maneuver that thing underneath the car.

A jigsaw will be a PITA. I tried it with metal blades as well and it sucked badly. Too small. Then I got a sawsall from a friend and had the cut done in less than 1 minute on each side. See if you can rent one from somewhere or if you have an autozone nearby, they will let you burrow one for free.

I can rent one for 25 bucks but I wanted to at least try my jigsaw. What the hell do I say to AutoZone to let me borrow one for free...? I'd probably have to leave a deposit or something and they won't trust a 17 year old.

Yeah a deposit is all I ever needed to leave, but you get it back when you bring the tool back. Maybe an ID as well. Not a bad deal if you ask me. Try the jig first. You wont get far. Especially when your on your back. It sucks. The only place you need to make a cut is right after each muffler. Only 2 cuts total. After the cuts, then its easy to do the rest. Good luck.
