Default Buying an '00 GT, quick question on brakes

Hey there! New here. I've been shopping around for a new edge, and think I've found the one I want. It's priced well, relatively low mileage (104K), same owner since 2001...really clean car. And it's Atlantic Blue, my favorite color I have a couple concerns, though, regarding the brakes.

Firstly, the pedal pressure is really stiff---not to the point of being unsafe or to make me want to not buy it, but it's something I'll have to take a look at. Is it common for the brake boosters to fail on these cars? What else might cause a stiff pedal? Second, I would swear that a couple times on the test drive, the ABS kicked in briefly when coming to a stop. No lights came on in the dash (is there even an ABS light?) but I could feel the pedal vibrating. The sellers mentioned they just had the rotors and brake pads last year, so I'm wondering if maybe something was installed incorrectly? Thanks in advance, looking forward to joining the Mustang club

I've had three mustangs (01, 01, 02) over the years and I've never had a brake booster fail. Check the brake fluid, make sure it's topped off. Also find out if the seller did any brake work and didn't bleed the brakes. And about the ABS, it's probably not the ABS that's jerking you around. I would say the car may need an alignment. That's probably the vibrating you feel.

Thanks, I will definitely start with bleeding. Can anyone recommend a power bleeder that works well for these cars? As for the ABS, "vibration" wasn't really the right word---it wasn't the car vibrating, rather the pedal pulsating, definitely an ABS feeling. It only happened one one or two stops, and always in the 3-5 MPH range. In doing some research it seems it could be a wheel speed sensor or cracked ABS tone ring.
