Stalls out and runs rich
So let me start off by saying I am new to the mustang world. I am fairly mechanically inclined and have always done work on my vehicles and my friends. I'm not trying to sound stupid but I bought a 99 gt and am having some trouble and can't figure it out. The car will stall out when I push in my clutch and it smells rich. It also will almost stall and then shoot up in rpms. It really doesn't have a consistent pattern of doing this though. It is throwing codes for all o2 sensors and I got under it today and realized only the front two are in it. It has aftermarket exhaust and I guess they cut and spliced new sensors into it and each one has four wires running out of it. I don't know if this is causing the problem or not. Also, I have replaced the IAC and TPS. Any help is appreciated greatly.

next thing check for vacum leaks if you have cai check make sure gasket inbetween maf and elbow is in correctly and tighten correctly did this back when i installed 78mm bbk throttle body and car was stalling so redid the cai connection wala fixed so just maybe itll be the case for you also check around throttle body by spraying started fluid around connections there if it idls up you found the issue

If they are aftermarket sensors they will most likely have two white wires for the heater, and one black and one gray wire--the sensor's positivr (black) and ground (gray) outputs.
Here are the colour codes for a number of aftermarket sensors...
