Default Wobble And Spacer

I recently purchased a 2002 ford mustang and the previous owner had to put a rear wheel spacer maybe a inch or two and when I reach up to 50-60 mph the car seems to wobble. Is there anything I can do, maybe bad spacer? I have two near rear tires and two decent front tires. However this occurred even before the new tires. What can I do?

If it's a good quality spacer like H&R and they wobble, they were probably installed incorrectly. You need to take off the wheel, take off the spacer, and get to cleaning off the hub on the car. If there's any residue rust or dirt between the hub and the spacer, it will cause vibrations. If there is dirt or residue of any kind between the spacer and the wheel you're bolting up, it will cause vibrations. Cleaning is the key here, so make sure it's all clean. If you still have an issue with the spacers after cleaning, check the wheel balance. If the wheel balance is fine, then it's probably a bad spacer, and you should just buy new wheels or buy new higher quality spacers.

I apologize but isn't a wheel spacer, raise rear height(More clearance I suppose?)?

Wheel spacer goes between the hub of the car and the wheel. You're thinking of a body spacer for like Jeeps where it raises up the cabin above the frame for off-roading.

Hmm well I believe it has a body spacer, could that cause a wobble?
