Default Need buying advice

Not sure this is correct forum to post this in but need some extra advice on buying a mustang.

Options:

1) 2009 GT Premium Convertible -- Standard options 4.6L.... $18k (33k miles)

2) 2004 GT Premium Convertible -- KenneBell supercharger&intercooler, custom paint, custom stereo (aprox 400 whp) w/25k miles. -- $16k

Not sure what to do, I do like the newer 06+ style more but this older one does have some cool bells and whistles

Have you had a mechanic review the two cars you are thinking over? Hiring one to check out a possible new car can really save you a headache later if something turns out to be broken.

Also, while having more bells and whistles from the get go is definitely fun, I'd make sure the upgrades were installed professionally and no corners were cut.

Thanks, but assuming mechanically sound and installed options for both cars. The 2004 being close to price of an 09, are those "upgrades" worth it? aprox 400hp on the 04

Well, if you want make some upgrades yourself I would go with 09 for the 3V, it can make more power than the 04.
