Viper Alarm/PATS Issue
 

98 Cobra with an alarm installed failed to start today.

I went to check.and it started.

Later that evening it wouldn't start, and it was clear the fuel pump was not priming.or whatever it does after the key is turned on.

Brother noticed THEFT light blinking rapidly.

This particular alarm has a box in which you place a key then plug on...light returned to normal, pump primed, car started several times.

Shortly thereafter we unplugged the alarm and it started again.

I know thats a wordy story but has anyone dealt with an aftermarket alarm and PATS issues?

And am I correct in thinking that PATS and the pump not priming are related?
