Making the leap from pushrod to mod
Well I sold my 90 lx (for a very tidy profit I might add) got 5k out of it.
I have the opportunity to purchase a 2000 GT for a pretty good price , they want 3,200 for it. Needs a battery , a radio , and mufflers. Going to look at it today. From the pics it looks pretty clean. 155k on the od. With new fuel pump , and a new clutch.
Now I don't know a whole lot about these modular 4.6 engines other than the 99-04 had the PI 2v heads, and I had one in my 05 Lincoln and it was a great running engine. Do you think 155k is high I will probly order a new timing kit for it to get that out of the way , as I have seen a lot of these engines develop timing chain/guide issues. But for 3200 (gonna try for less) I think it is priced low. Considering around here most of them at this year are fetching between 5-7k. The best thing is I don't have to drive more than 10 min to look at it.
Here are some pick from there post ... What do you all think.

lol See I wouldn't have ever noticed the wheel spacing being wrong, So how do I correct it, with some spacers?
I did end up buying it , I got it for 2,800 because the trans mission wouldn't go into any gear exept 1st, until I took the shifter plate off and fished the shift ball bushing out of the bottem of the thing then put it all back and shifts good. Engine is tight with no kind of knocks or rattles .
fuel gauge is not reading nor the speedo but the guy just had the fuel pump changed and the trans was out for a new clutch. Has a few little things to take care of but over all a pretty good deal. A little shimmy in the steering at 65 so I will have to get it up in the air and check all that stuff out , it may just need tires they are dry rotted and car hasn't been driven in quite some time.
